Jeannie Cooper is an Artist, working in all mediums, with a heavy emphasis in Impressionist Landscapes, Figure Painting and Still Life. With degrees from the University of Kentucky and the Atlanta School of Art, Jeannie studied under notable artists including Comer Jennings, Ben Smith, and Herb Creecy.
Jeannie’s work has been profoundly influenced by Anne DeCosta, who expanded Jeannie’s unique use of color and expression. In addition to creating masterful works of art, Jeannie has taught painting and figure drawing in Atlanta for the past decade.
Jeannie and her husband, Dennis, are actively involved within the Atlanta community, supporting many charities and organizations including The Atlanta Ballet, Kennesaw State University, The Georgia Aquarium, The Shepherd Center, Sandy Springs Heritage and Big Brothers Big Sisters. A strong believer in giving back, Jeannie has donated numerous paintings to organizations to be auctioned at community fundraisers.
